Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the Pakistani Connection
It was reported recently that Iran had finished a project to install 1,312 centrifuges for enriching uranium. This milestone was reached thanks to a 2001 secret pilot program that was reinitiated in violation of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty imposed by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) which required Iran to immediately suspend any enrichment related activities.

The Importance of Bush Being Earnest
Despite Democratic majority leader Steny H. Hoyer’s insistence that “There is nobody in this Congress (namely his party) who wants to lose this war,” it is becoming increasingly evident that, even if the terrorists suddenly proclaim that they are giving up the fight and resorting to more diplomatic means to achieve their ends, the war on Iraq would still be considered lost by most Democrats. This reality was made resoundingly clear by Senator Harry Reid recently when he unambiguously declared that the war in Iraq is lost. What; already?

Darwin and plastic surgery
It would seem that Charles Darwin was not particularly fond of his own physical appearance. In what sounds subtly like a self-deprecatory gesture, he once wrote to his staunchest supporter and highly devoted Christian pen pal, the respected American Botanist Asa Gray, “Will you honestly tell me that the shape of my nose was ordained and guided by an intelligent cause?”

Exhuming Darwin's Reducible Complexities
In one of those enduring moments in comedic history Homer Simpson’s brain nudges him to try using reverse psychology on his son Bart. When Homer wonders out loud what the term means his brain parries with annoyance that he should not use reverse psychology; failing to discern his own brain’s trickery Homer defiantly replies: alright, then I will!
